  1. Motivating high school students can be a daunting task. I am fortunate to teach elementary PE and I am the varsity girls basketball coach at the high school. Being with those elementary kids all day is so refreshing and it allows me to be a better coach to my basketball players. I have had numerous conversations on what happens to some kids when they get to high school. Some of them become so disinterested in achieving at the highest level. Do they have too many distractions? Or do they really just not care anymore? I will be interested to follow your progress and I wish you the best of luck!!

  3. Kristi,

This plan is awesome! It's obvious you put a great deal of time, effort, and thought into not only the topic choice, but the organization of information. Research into student motivation is always welcome, and a smart choice.

    Keep up the great work!

  4. I think you have a great plan. If you would like technology ideas let me know, I teach computers and this past year I taught a gaming class which I came up with some plans that were cross curricular for science, english, social studies or possibly any subject. I would be happy to help.
